ELECTRONICS RECYCLING

What is the Return-It Electronics program?
A province-wide end-of-life electronics recycling program available to BC consumers and businesses. As of August 1st, 2007, you can drop off regulated products at designated collection sites (BBK Bottel Depot in Prince George at 2629 Vance Road) without charge, and be assured they will be recycled responsibly.

What are the regulated electronic items included in the program?

  • NOTEBOOK COMPUTERS Includes portable computers such as notebook, laptop and tablet PCs.
  • DESKTOP PRINTERS AND FAX MACHINES This includes printing devices that are designed to reside on a work surface, and includes various printing technologies, including Laser & LED (electrophotographic), ink jet, dot matrix, thermal, dye sublimation, etc. and “multi-function” or “all in one” devices that perform different tasks such as copy, scan, fax, print, etc.

How does the fee program work?
A fee applied to the purchase price of new desktop computers, computer monitors, notebook computers, desktop printers, fax machines, and televisions will be used to pay for the recycling of all regulated items returned.

How will I know whether I’ve paid a fee on my purchase?

Why should I have to pay a fee on the purchase of new electronics?

Because there are literally thousands of toners and ink cartridges available, we do ask that you contact us for a complete price quote. For any order under $500.00 there is a $15.00 shipping charge but for orders over $500.00 shipping is free within Canada. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Paypal payments or you can call us and give your credit information over the phone.

Touch Computer Systems

Touch Computers

The main line of comuters that we carry at Premier Computer Care Inc. is the "Touch" line of computers.

Touch computer systems have a proven track record in the computer industry and they have been around since the early 80's. Touch is also one of the only computer lines to offer a complete 3 year parts warranty. Typically, computer systems only have a 1 year warranty but because of using exceptional part like Asus motherboards and Intel or AMD CPU's, Touch can offer the better warranty.

At Premier Computer Care, we are able to repair Touch systems in house without the need to send them away for any extended period of time.

Typical configurations will cost around $700.00 for a solid performing business class machine and around $900.00 for a higher end home computer system. Please refer to the information above for a customized quote. With these systems, we can preconfigure them to your exact specifications and needs so you are not getting the typical "Bundled" computer system.
